Music in Islam.

Narrated Abu Amir or Abu Malik Al Ashari that he heard the Prophet saying, “From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, ‘Return to us tomorrow.’ Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection.”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol.7 Hadith No.5590]

Do you really want to be among those people??
Do you want to disobey your lord just for the sake of a few minutes of fun listening to music?
Compared to the eternal bliss that is JANNAH, this world means nothing.
Verily, in Surat Ale-Imran:
"You are the best of people evolved from mankind, you enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong and you believe in Allah.."

Is music really enjoining what is right?
Do those satanic lyrics really satisfy our soul?
We should ask ourselves muslim brothers and sisters, "Am I doing something right? Will this lead me to jannah?"
Can we not, for the sake of Allah, leave music?
Can we not switch to halaal music?
Halaal music is the recitation of the Holy Qura'an.
Which is more satisfying to the soul and brings peace and tranquility to it.
The prophet has said in his last sermon, Beware of satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hop that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things so beware of following him in small things.
